Raul Dominguez Villalobos
1946 - 2025
Beloved Father
Grandfather, Brother & Uncle
Raul Dominguez Villalobos, age 78, of Murrieta and Los Angeles, California, peacefully passed away from sepsis and undiagnosed cancer on January 9, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on November 29, 1946, to Frank and Aurora Villalobos in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from Santa Monica High School in 1965, he was drafted into the United States Army in 1966. He served his country during the Vietnam War as a Specialist 4 (SP4) and was honorably discharged from the US Army in 1972.
In 1968, Raul met Frances Rios of Venice High School. They were married from 1969 to 1994 and had three children: Frances, Angelina, and Raul Jr. Following his military service as a sharpshooter and military police officer, Raul pursued a career in the emerging computer industry. He was passionate about teaching and learning during a time when the industry was still uncharted. His work took him around the world, setting up Adam computer systems. Raul retired around 1995 after more than 30 years in his field.
Around 2015, he found love again with Victoria R. Henson, who, along with her family, embraced him as their own. They lived together in Murrieta, California, until Victoria’s passing in 2018. Raul remained in Murrieta with Victoria’s daughter and grandchildren. And most recently lived with Flor and Agnes Guzman. His family is forever grateful for their love, care, and friendship. s
Beyond technology, Raul had a love for the automotive industry and spent time working alongside his brothers. He loved music and dancing, however, his greatest passion was being outdoors—working the land, gardening, landscaping, and tending to his beloved fruit trees.
Raul was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Aurora Villalobos, and his recently deceased brother, Roger Villalobos. He is survived by his siblings: Frank, Alex, Robert, and Gloria Villalobos; his nieces and nephews: Frankie, Gina, Steve, Roger, Peri, Robert, Greg, Savannah, Samantha, Maureen, and their children.
Forever in their hearts his legacy is carried on by his three children: Frances Thompson and her husband Terry Thompson, Angelina C. Cosentino, and Raul D. Villalobos Jr.; and his grandchildren: Gionni Gutierrez, Taryn, Ethan, and Paisley Thompson. He also leaves behind his extended family of his beloved Victoria Henson.
A service honoring Raul’s life will be held at the LA National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to support the family during this time may contribute to the service arrangements. Donations are welcome appreciated:
